 LECTURE DESCRIPTION

This lecture reviews, analizes and supplies college students about English skill in scientific literacy and its learning. The materials include Writing, Listening, Speaking, Reading skills and will be talked about grammar to help students analize nand understand with articles or international journal and of course to make them understand scientific literacy lately.

After taking this courses, students can:

  1. undertand basic concept of English skills in sciences.
  2. apply English skills in sciences.
  3. develope English skill in sciences learning.

Evaluation items consist of:

  1. Participation and presence

Learning is actually happen in social condition. A class is social situation which is created bt lecture to help students to reach learning goals. Because of that, presence and participation in lecture is the parameter of studets previlege that it must be developed and be given weight value.

  1. Self assignments

Students can introduce theirselves by using English, can write self reflection and daily report, can do sciences microteaching in English.

  1. Group assignments

In group students are demanded to understand and to analize international scientific journal and to present it. The format and the kinds of assignments will be discused then.

  1. Middle examination

The middle examination will be held in the midlle of lecture, it aims to monitore students learning development.

  1. Final Examination

Final Examination will be held in the end of lecture to understand students competence goal levels.
